Growing Pains - is HR a Necessary Evil or a Strategic Partner? - Bright Purple event for Tech Companies
Bright Purple are organising an event on the 18th of February, 5pm at our Edinburgh office aimed at early and mid stage technology companies - “Growing pains – is HR a necessary evil or a strategic partner?”

The event will be led by Gaelle Ciriego from Ipso Facto. If interested, please email Russell to book a place: russell.kennedy@brightpurple.co.uk

High-tech start-ups and fast growing businesses typically experience a much stronger business pressure for early and rapid organizational growth than almost any other sector. This is largely due to the need – real or perceived – to exploit a small technological lead over competitors or to address a narrow market window. But many such organizations are disproportionately staffed with technology personnel, skilled in the company’s particular technical domain, but often lacking the sufficient balance of marketing, sales and other skills.

As a result, many of these organisations experience significant growing pains and fail to convert greater organizational size to step-change increases in revenue. The event will look at these issues and provide actionable advice to assist technology companies who find themselves in a similar position.
