IT Security Professionals In Demand
Demand for IT security personnel has continued to rise, in spite of the current economic climate, due to growing fears over database security.
Demand for IT security personnel has continued to grow despite the current nature of the economic climate.Recent research has revealed that the IT security sub-sector is recruiting at a higher rate than any other industry vertical, with the information security workforce set to grow from 1.66m in 2007 to 2.69m by 2012 according to the Global Information Security Workforce Study.

The findings of the study, produced by industry analysts Frost & Sullivan, are believed to have been influenced by the growing concern over security of confidential and important information. With IT security having become a hot topic following a string of recent, high-profile news stories concerning government database security, it
is hardly surprising that IT security recruitment is performing well in a difficult climate.
