Bright Purple named as one of Scotland’s Best Workplaces
IT and Financial Services recruitment specialists Bright Purple Resourcing has been named as one of the Best Workplaces in Scotland. The Edinburgh-based firm with offices in London, Lithuania and Singapore was named in the Top 10 in the small business category for Scotland at a ceremony in Glasgow.
This latest recognition follows a string of recent awards for Bright Purple, which is focused on growing its business to £100m across global markets. In its 2010/11 financial results, the firm reported growth in its annual turnover to £37m, nearly doubling the previous year’s performance.
The Best Workplaces in Scotland awards are organised and presented by The Great Place to Work® Institute UK. The organisation’s CEO, Tom O’Byrne, said: "Bright Purple know what they’re talking about when it comes to people in the workplace. The numbers don’t lie – winning a place among Scotland’s Best Workplaces this year, Bright Purple has proved they know how to engage, listen to and take care of their own people. Glowing employee comments highlight the fun incentives, community involvement and management’s outstanding ability to get everyone on board to drive success. Bright Purple is working hard and focusing on its people, and should be recognised as an example for its competitors to take note of."
Bright Purple CEO, Nick Price said: “While I am always proud to win any award which recognises the success of Bright Purple, this one is extra special as it underlines the fact that our people feel we are a great company work for. We believe that commercial success and being a great employer are completely inter-dependent upon each other and, without being complacent about it, I’m absolutely thrilled that we are progressing well on both fronts.”
