In fact we are so focused on this principle that we’ve created our very own Academy to help deliver it.
Based in our Edinburgh headquarters, the Bright Purple Academy is an internal training school where we put new recruits through our thorough induction process and provide leadership and personal development programmes for more senior people. In all cases we promote the positive values and strong work ethic of Bright Purple, while instilling our own proven and successful recruiting methods.
The Academy also serves external clients. Through our training partner, UK management consultancy BMC Global Services, we offer a wide range of accreditation level training programmes for corporate clients and the wider community. These cater for the highest level executives looking to develop their leadership skills to young school-leavers, looking to discover their full potential through an alternative route.
These programmes include:
• MSC in Leadership
• Mini masters in Leadership
• Chartered Management Institute levels 3-8 (Leadership & Strategy; Coaching & Mentoring)
• OCN and CIM levels 2-3 (Leadership and Personal Development)
• Introductory Leadership certificate
The Bright Purple Academy training programmes are based on inspiring passion in people, encouraging them to release their full potential and deliver Exceptional Performance within their own business environment. They are built around BMC’s leadership model, based on five elements:
- spiritual values and beliefs
- emotional intelligence
- social intelligence
- physical wellbeing
- positive mental attitude
Many of the programmes also incorporate a strong focus on sport as it brings out true passion in people. Its principle themes of competitiveness, team-work and preparation are all key elements in building a successful organisation and provide an important link to the Academy’s focus on promoting leadership.
All programmes can be specifically developed and tailored. We get to know our clients’ individual and organisational needs and put together a package that is ideally suited to their specific requirements.
