Here’s an interesting role for all your IT Manager & Heads of IT to consider…

We’re working with a well established Scottish business based in Edinburgh currently looking for a Head of IT to come onboard and look after their infrastructure and business change teams.

There are 2 direct reports and around 20 indirect all working to ensure the current and future needs of the business are met in close collaboration with other department heads.

It’s advantageous if you’ve had experience working in the retail or B2C space with a good understanding of CRM’s, Billing and Finance systems as well as managing 3rd party vendors / service suppliers.

You’ll also need experience in all aspects of the ICT function including security and information management to ensure compliance with all current legislation (GDPR, Records management etc.).

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Demonstrable experience as Head of IT in a medium sized B2C environment
  • Good knowledge of the full ICT function (Servers, networking, telephony, security etc.)
  • Previous experience of managing Business Change teams (BA’s PM,s etc.)
  • Experience of managing data and records in line with current legislations
  • Demonstrable experience of 3rd party supplier management

The salary for this role is around £70k plus a car allowance, very generous bonus as well as the usual pension and life assurance that you’d expect (potentially £100k package).

While there is hybrid working, you will be in the office 3 days a week (potentially more during project implementations), so you’ll need to be within commutable distance to the Edinburgh office.
