I understand that not everyone wants to be part of a massive team of support engineers, working in the fanciest offices in town. For some people, being part of a smaller team where your skills and experience have a much bigger impact on the business is the preferred option.
If you prefer that small team environment, and you’re happy to be on-site in Edinburgh then this is the role for you. You’ll report to the IT Director, manage IT functions and provide BAU support across their full ICT infrastructure. This role could suit a suit a Senior Systems Engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career, someone who wants to take on more responsibility and manage/mentor a small team.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience of the full ICT infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, O365, Networking, Security etc.
- Demonstrable experience of monitoring and managing networked infrastructures
- Mentoring junior team members
- Any knowledge of ERP support would be highly advantageous
This is a fantastic role working for a leading UK manufacturing business expanding their IT function and investing in the modernisation of their core infrastructure. Due to the nature of the role it will be fully on-site in their Edinburgh office, free parking is available.
In return for your knowledge and experience you’ll have a salary in the region of up to £45,000 together with the opportunity to develop your career as part of a small team.
