Role: Java Developer
Location: Glasgow (Remote if preferable)
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000
Role Overview:
A team of Software Engineers, Data Scientist, and Engineers are looking to bring another member onto the team due to the company's growth and recent business wins within the scientific community. You will be welcomed into their modern office located in central Glasgow but do have the option to work fully remote if that is your preference.
Key Skills:
*React or alternative
*Experience building web-based applications with Java (ideally Java 8+)
*Experience with JavaScript
*SpringBoot
*GoogleCloud or similar.
Experience with React and GoogleCloud not essential. Alternatives are a big bonus, but Java Developers looking to pick up either are more than welcome to apply.
Company Details:
They are currently working with big data and analytics focussed on bringing innovation to their field. Due to the team being cross-functional they will be particularly keen on speaking to anyone with exposure to working alongside teams of varied skillsets or directly as a full stack Java Developers themselves while also having front-end knowledge with popular front-end frameworks such as React or similar.
With the business now totaling over 25+ years' experience, you are sure to be in good hands with the team consisting of multiple Seniors to share their knowledge. The opportunity to learn to use frameworks such as React and deploy your code with GoogleCloud is open to those willing to learn and previous experience is not required but will stand out.
