A Software developer with experience in a range of front-end and back-end technologies is needed by this leading FinTech in Edinburgh. You will join a small technical team designing and building a new digital platform to provide visually engaging insights into the financial world.
This new digital platform will become the main interface for existing clients - many of the world's leading financial companies.
The current platform consists of a PHP backend, Angular frontend, and cloud-managed MySQL, with a Python-based platform for data. You will also have opportunities to enhance their backend website and emphasize their research into machine learning models. One of the stand-out features of this role is the opportunity to scale up using AWS for cloud deployment and Angular without having any prior commercial experience. As well as this they are open to anyone who wants to retrain with PHP/Python from another language.
Fully remote even post covid, but if you choose to go into the office when possible you'll be greeted by a modern and spacious office situated in central Edinburgh.
