Bright Purple is working exclusively with a phenomenal AgriTech technology business with a global presence to source an Business Development Manager, ideally with experience of software/ technology used within the Agriculture / Farming / Horticulture markets. .


This role is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the UK, Netherlands or Scandinavia provided you can undertake international travel to client sites when required and trips to the global HQ which is situated in Edinburgh, Scotland.


As an eager, enthusiastic, self-motivated ad hungry sales person, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining close relationships with a number of key clients globally ranging from government departments, farmers, supermarket chains etc. as well as targeting new prospects. You will be expected to represent our client at global trade shows and perform customer demo’s and workshops when required.


What’s needed from you?


  • Experience in new business sales and account management gained within the software/ electronics industry – ideally technology related to Farming / Agriculture/ Life Sciences etc.
  • Someone who has worked in high-growth start-up environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Someone who believes in making the world a safer, healthier and happier place through technology.
