Support the development and infrastructure behind the world's most technologically advanced and one of the fastest growing innovative organistations in the UK.

The Role:

Work with a company that works to continuously improve their products and deliver more value to their customers. Work with a company that deals with complex architectures and equally complex hardware systems. Using containerised microservices orchestrated by Kubernetes, they deliver a multi-tenant cloud solution running sites across the world. Recent funding and a huge influx of investments has allowed this organisation to push the boundaries in their industry and are one of the most desirable organisations to work with in Scotland due to the technologies they work with and the outcome/impact this has on environmental awareness. They are in the process of converting experimental hardware and software in to scalable, maintainable and extensible enterprise grade product.

The DevOps & Engineering Team:

Building around the foundations of an open and collaborative environment, in an Agile environment to delivery high-levels of continuous service to customer. They are now building out their current DevOps team across a wide range of skills.  Automation is the key, using IaC and the latest Azure modules to ensure fast, robust and repeatable results.

Their drive is to move fast and deliver early, so have adopted a Scrum process to keep all in lock step across DevOps, feature development and implementation projects; delivering the highest priorities first.  When things go wrong – and they recognise that they will – they want to know about a problem before the user reports it, and need a slick process for investigating and correcting these issues.

This is a team that wants to provide an excellent product (hardware and software) to users worldwide. They want all to enjoy the process of doing that, nurturing each other to produce the best results.
