Are you a Lead Engineer, Development Manager, or Technical Team Lead looking to establish yourself in a cutting-edge tech company with a product built in-house and used across the UK and Europe?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to play a key role driving forward the development of a comprehensive platform used widely across the UK and Europe by vast swathes of my client’s industry.
The technology is a beautifully engineered solution utilising the best in modern web technologies, hosted on AWS, and continually evolved, iterated and scaled to meet a massive spike in demand following a major acquisition.
I’ve been fortunate to partner exclusively with this organisation over the last year, helping them hire a significant number of new technical staff. Every single one of them is loving their new job, and all have spoken highly of the brilliant culture centred around learning, development, and well-being.
In this role, you would be responsible for leading the Front End team, focused on building out crucial new features for the platform’s UI, and making key design decisions. You will own the Front End road-map, managing developers, and overseeing their Agile/Scrum delivery mechanisms.

This role would enable someone keen to remain hands-on and code-facing. You must have recent experience with JavaScript (ideally React.js), and have a real passion for sharing your knowledge of what “good” looks like, and helping those in your team achieve their own career objectives.

Being empathetic and approachable is a great skill, and in this role it would help you maintain the close-knight, trusting and positive buzz that has developed within the team over many years.

The sort of experiences this role would really take advantage of and leverage might cover:

- Recent hands-on experience in modern JavaScript technologies
- Experience of leading teams (management and technical)
- Experience of 1-2-1s, career development and mentoring
- Individual flair for constructing value through Agile/Scrum methods
- Care for culture and team ethos

I have an in-depth knowledge of this organisation built upon successfully introducing them to a high number of people, so a conversation with me about the role, the company, and the opportunities available should prove far more enlightening than time spent speaking with other recruiters about jobs and companies they just do not have the expert knowledge of!

If you think you have the skills and experience needed, why wait, when your career could be changing forever! Apply NOW with your latest CV or share this with the person you first think of!
