Software Engineering Manager
The role:
A growing software house in central Edinburgh is on the lookout for a talented and driven Engineering Manager to join a well-established team of Developers. Their key product involves an AI-powered software platform used throughout various sectors and globally with a client base that stretches from Europe to the US.
They are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the current team while providing mentorship and fostering an environment for individuals to thrive. You will be joining a team working on commercial cloud-based solutions for their multiple SaaS products. Ideally, you bring proven engineering leadership experience as well as practical infrastructure knowledge. You demonstrate strong development skills, the ability to form great partnerships across engineering, support and grow individual engineers, and sufficient technical experience to partner well with individuals and also to inspect their projects.
Experience:
**Lead an agile engineering team while empowering the members of this team to reach their full potential.
**Run sprints in conjunction with the Product Manager and the rest of the team, break down sprint work and organise the workflow.
**Simplify and optimise solutions for the best delivery focussed outcomes.
**Take charge of growing your own team through recruiting, onboarding, and training new members.
