Developing market leading products is one thing; actually getting the products into the customers working environments is a whole different kettle of fish.
And this is where you’ll come in.
Working with a Glasgow based software business you’ll be integrating their products into their customers IT Systems ensuring compatibility with existing platforms.
This is a full lifecycle role where you may be involved in some aspects of pre-sales technical support through to the actual implementation and onto go live support to ensure the functionality meets the agreed customer specifications.
The skills you’ll bring:

A background in IT Systems Administration

Previous experience in a Software Implementation role

Practical working knowledge of SQL (including scripting, querying etc.)

Excellent customer facing skills

Ability to take ownership of technical issues from inception to resolution
Many of the customers are based abroad so a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to travel when required (not very often) is essential here.
