The role of Recruitment Marketing involves an incredibly varied workload, from CRM management and internal comms to business bids and social media content. Marketing to both candidates and clients require different strategies that work together, so no two days look the same!

Being able to support the recruiters in the sales team is demanding and fun – sales move quickly, keeping me on my toes. One of my favourite things about recruitment marketing is being kept up to date with overall trends with the employment landscape, and with all things technology and transformation, as that’s our speciality.

Being a one-person department provides both autonomy and challenges, but working collaboratively with driven people across the business is fun and rewarding.

When I’m not covering marketing at Bright Purple, I’m kept busy with mum duties, a full-time job if there ever was one! Juggling work and family life is a jigsaw puzzle that is never fully completed – but rather than focusing on missing pieces, I count myself lucky in that I work in a creative and fulfilling role for an employer that promotes ownership and flexibility over my work.
