IT Helpdesk Technician (1–3 Years’ Experience)

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of helpdesk experience who is keen to develop their technical skills and progress their career in IT.
The Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, providing friendly and efficient technical assistance to users across the business. You’ll troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents remotely, and escalate where necessary, all while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line and second-line IT support to end users

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues

Support Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

Use remote support tools to diagnose and resolve issues

Maintain accurate records of incidents and requests

Follow IT security policies and best practices
Essential Skills & Experience

1–3 years’ experience working in an IT helpdesk or support role

Understanding/knowledge of network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP)

Technical knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 11)

Technical knowledge of mobile operating systems (Apple iOS / Android)

Experience using remote support tools such as TeamViewer

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Desirable

Understanding or knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365

Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Intune

Knowledge of IT security standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials

Experience with Microsoft BitLocker
