Location: Auchterarder (Fully onsite)
Contract: 2 months
Day Rate: £200 (Outside IR35)
Overview

Level 1/2 IT Support Engineer required for a short-term onsite contract

Primary focus on a Windows 11 upgrade and laptop refresh programme

Fully onsite role based in Auchterarder
Key responsibilities
-
Provide L1/2 desk-side and service desk support to end users
-
Support a Windows 11 upgrade programme across laptops
-
Replace laptop hardware including memory (RAM) and hard disks
-
Build, configure and deploy laptops and peripherals
-
Log, diagnose and resolve incidents following ITIL processes

Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation
-
Support basic networking, connectivity and VPN issues
Required experience
-
1–3 years’ experience in a Level 1/2 IT support role

Strong Windows OS and Microsoft 365 support experience

Comfortable with hands-on laptop hardware upgrades

Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Freshservice or similar)

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
