IT Support Engineer (Level 1/2)
Location: Auchterarder (Fully onsite)
Contract: 2 months
Day Rate: £200 (Outside IR35)
 
Overview
 
  • Level 1/2 IT Support Engineer required for a short-term onsite contract
  • Primary focus on a Windows 11 upgrade and laptop refresh programme
  • Fully onsite role based in Auchterarder
 
Key responsibilities
 
  • Provide L1/2 desk-side and service desk support to end users
  • Support a Windows 11 upgrade programme across laptops
  • Replace laptop hardware including memory (RAM) and hard disks
  • Build, configure and deploy laptops and peripherals
  • Log, diagnose and resolve incidents following ITIL processes
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation
  • Support basic networking, connectivity and VPN issues
 
Required experience
 
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a Level 1/2 IT support role
  • Strong Windows OS and Microsoft 365 support experience
  • Comfortable with hands-on laptop hardware upgrades
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Freshservice or similar)
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
