Power Platform Functional Consultant
Remote UK
Salary up to £65,000

Are you passionate about building elegant, AI-powered solutions on the Microsoft 365 Power Platform? We're looking for a Power Platform Functional Consultant to join our client and help their clients design, deliver, and optimise solutions that make a real difference to their businesses.

In this role, you'll work across the full project lifecycle, from initial design through implementation to operational handover and ongoing optimisation, bringing modern platform capabilities, including AI, to solve complex business problems.

What you'll be doing
  • Design and deliver Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions (including Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Teams), ensuring scalable, supportable outcomes
  • Define and implement environment strategy, ALM, governance, and platform controls, including DLP policies, enterprise guardrails, and lifecycle management
  • Provide expert guidance on licensing models, capacity planning, and cost optimisation (e.g. premium connectors, AI Builder credits, Dataverse storage)
  • Take accountability for delivery commitments, including tasks, estimates, timelines, and the quality of outcomes
  • Deliver clear client communication and high-quality outputs, including structured handover to clients and FSP's Managed Services team
  • Promote best practices across security, compliance, solution design, platform governance, and continuous improvement through knowledge sharing
What we're looking for
  • Strong experience across core Microsoft 365 and Power Platform components, delivering end-to-end solutions independently and as part of a team
  • Proven delivery of Power Platform solutions, including AI-driven and agent-based experiences using Copilot Studio and AI Builder
  • Solid understanding of enterprise-scale Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, DLP policies, platform controls, and governed operating models (e.g. front-door processes and request assessment)
  • Competency in advanced Power Platform and ALM methodologies, including Power FX, environment management, custom connectors, solution management, DLP policies, and the Power Platform Admin Centre
  • Strong grasp of Power Platform licensing models (per-app, per-user, capacity-based, and AI consumption), with experience using PowerShell or CLI tools for configuration and administration
  • Strong ownership of deliverables with a commitment to excellent client experience, supported by Agile delivery practices and user-centric UX/UI principles

Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates may need to undergo security clearance (SC).
