Sales Manager – SpaceTech | Scotland OR Remote UK
£58,000 base + bonus, commission and excellent benefits
You've spent years mastering the art of complex SaaS sales. You know how to open doors, build trust and close deals that matter. Now imagine taking that expertise and pointing it at one of the most exciting growth stories in the UK space sector. A product that's changing how missions are built and operated. A market that's ready. A company that's moving fast.
We're working with a fast-growing, employee-owned UK space software company — one of the most talked-about names to emerge from the British space scene — on a pivotal new hire: a Regional Sales Manager to own new business development across Europe.
This is a business at an inflection point. Backed by fresh investment, delivering strong double-digit sales growth, and expanding internationally, they've built a genuinely innovative Space-SaaS platform that's already deployed with customers ranging from space agencies to commercial operators and university research teams worldwide. The product works. The market is growing. Now they need the right person to accelerate it.
In this role you will be responsible for:
-
Identifying and converting new customers across Europe in defined sectors
-
Leading the full sales process from first contact through to signed contract
-
Building and managing a structured pipeline in CRM (Salesforce)
-
Creating and owning key account management plans
-
Representing the company at industry events and trade shows
-
Feeding into monthly sales forecasting and commercial reporting
-
Maximising cross-sell opportunities across a growing product portfolio
You will bring the following experience:
-
C.5+ years in a SaaS sales environment with a demonstrable new business track record
-
Experience selling complex software products into technical or enterprise buyers
-
A self-starter mentality — you don't wait for leads to come to you
-
Sound commercial judgement and strong attention to detail
-
Confident communicator — equally at home in a boardroom or at a conference stand
-
Solid knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent CRM
-
Background in space, defence or deep tech is a genuine advantage — but not essential
-
European language skills (French, German or Italian) are a bonus
In return you will enjoy an exceptional culture and benefits package. As a part emoployee-owned organisation you gain from the success of the business!
-
36 days holiday – well above the average!
-
6% employee pension contribution
-
A very flexible working environment, trusting you to do your work and not be anchored to a desk
-
Extensive private healthcare coverage
-
Enhanced paternity and maternity leave and pay
-
A super sociable office with brilliant meet ups and events
-
