The role
As Senior Solutions Engineer in their Customer Applications Team, you’ll be the technical lead and final decision-maker for Salesforce, the core Sales and Customer Service application behind an outstanding home-buying experience. You’ll champion scalable, secure and maintainable solutions that make the most of out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality, while setting the technical and quality standards the whole team works to.
You’ll lead requirements gathering and solution design, deploy changes through a robust development pipeline, and take ownership of the platform’s technical health, from managing technical debt to troubleshooting issues. You’ll also line manage and mentor Solutions Engineers, plan and prioritise the team’s work, and partner with product, architecture and engineering colleagues to make sure Salesforce fits seamlessly into the wider technology landscape. And with 10% of your time dedicated to personal development, you’ll keep growing too.
What you’ll bring

5+ years’ experience on the Salesforce platform, including complex solution design and technical decision-making

Salesforce Administrator certification (Platform App Builder and advanced certifications are a bonus)

Proven skill in configuring scalable solutions with out-of-the-box features, and the judgement to know when another approach is needed

Experience deploying from test to production (Copado or similar desirable), working with managed packages, and working within Agile/Scrum

Line management, coaching or mentoring experience

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to explain decisions and offer constructive challenge to everyone from end users to senior executives
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Conga Composer & Sign, Asperato, Natterbox, Own Backup or Onfido would be an advantage.
