About this job
Bright Purple are working in close partnership with a pioneer of advanced machines and robotic systems.
Whilst already enjoying a strong reputation for the quality of their advanced solutions, during the Covid crisis they have turned their expertise to developing a product which will help businesses facilitate a safe return to work for their employees. This is a one-of-a-kind, data-driven device which they are extremely proud of. You will get the chance to work on this from day one.
This would be ideally suited to Software Engineers looking to get involved in building out microservices in a cloud-first (Azure) environment, utilising the best of modern practises in DevOps (containerisation, CI/CD) and Test (TDD).
You'd be involved in writing high-performing code and algorithms using a mix of React, C++ and Python. But, you must be willing to embrace new languages in a best-fit capacity, and have the desire to continually learn so as to avoid becoming pigeon-holed into a single stack.
The right candidate will have the chance to take ownership of their own career, making real impact: be it leading on client-interactions and architectural decision making, taking charge via team leading, or remaining hands-on at the coalface of the codebase.
In return, you will get a generous package that includes a great base salary, good holidays, a company bonus scheme and a variety of social events.
*Please note* You must be willing to travel regularly to the Newcastle area. Remote working long-term is definitely available, but frequent office visits are necessary.
