The Scottish Recruitment Awards, now in their 4th year and created by Scottish Business Insider to recognise the industry's top achievers, showcase’s the outstanding achievements of recruitment companies from across the breadth of Scotland.
The awards, which are being held at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel on June 10, 2010, recognise an industry whose financial returns significantly contribute to Scotland’s overall economy.
2009 was an exceptional year for Bright Purple and that success has been recognised by the recruitment industry in Scotland, with the company shortlisted in the Scottish Recruitment Awards 2010 in four of the eight major award categories.
The categories where the company is recognised are as follows:
Small /Medium Agency of the Year - Bright Purple Resourcing
Recruitment Team of the Year - Major Accounts Team
Recruitment Leader of the Year - Nick Price, Managing Director
Newcomer consultant of the Year - Ryan Lynch
Nick Price, Bright Purple’s MD was delighted by the recognition and commented, “It’s a fantastic boost for any company and its people to be recognised positively for the work they do, especially given the trading conditions we have all been working through in the last year. However I would also like to take time to recognise and compliment every member of our exceptional back office finance and administrative team, led by my FD, Alastair Maclean. The credit that falls on our high profile sales people is well deserved, but without this highly efficient back office function and their careful financial management, we wouldn’t be celebrating the success we are today.”
He continued, “I have the pleasure of working with some great people here at Bright Purple and it will be good to see if we can win one of these categories, so we can all share in the recognition together. We are up against some strong competition and in such a small, close knit industry, many of the leaders will know each other. I’d like to wish everyone in the finals of the awards the best of luck on the night.”
