Overview:
 
Bright Purple are working with a bespoke software house whose product suite is used by hundreds of Banking, Financial Services and Fintech clients globally to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their cash operations.
 
The organisation has a deep understanding of software solution development and designing products that will allow their customers to operate with the knowledge and assurance that cash flow, account management, liquidity and payments are all compliant and operationally ready.

About the position:
 
This would suit someone with a background in technical or software application support.
 
 
This position sits within the Application Support and primarily helps with 1st and 2nd line support of the product which is based on iis and SQL.
 
They are looking for someone with experience in IT / Application Support (with knowledge of ITIL principles) and basic SQL Querying to help provide support and mentoring to two other Support Analysts in the team.
 
Previous management experience isn't required, but if you have mentored in the past or overseen a project, that would be a great fit! There is real opportunity for progression within the organisation, and often people in this role move into development or Managed Service within a year or two.
 
The position offers a salary of up to £40k depending on experience and there are also optional on call shifts that offers additional renumeration.
 
 
You will have:
 

Prior experience as an Application Support Analyst using ITIL approach

Knowledge of SQL Server and basic scripting

Excellent communication skills – the ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences

Willingness to learn new technologies

 
Prior experience working within FS or with FS products would be a huge plus!
 
The organisation is currently working fully remotely and will be until September. Following this there is a requirement to be in their Livingston office 1-2 days per week depending on project requirements.
