Chief Technology Architect

Location: Edinburgh hybrid 2-3 days

Salary/Package: Competitive, senior-level £110,000 plus 22% bonus and benefits

Bright Purple proud to bring this role to the market for a company undergoing a period of significant digital and business transformation. We’re seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Architect to play a hands-on, strategic role in reshaping the organisation’s technology landscape.

About the Role

You will:

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive technology strategy and architectural blueprint

• Lead architectural design across multiple technology domains (cloud, data, security, applications)

• Partner with business leaders to align solutions to commercial goals

• Evaluate and embed emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to diverse technology teams

• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of enterprise solutions

• Oversee integration of new platforms and systems into the wider landscape

• Monitor industry trends and maintain a culture of continuous improvement

About You

• Proven senior-level experience in technology/enterprise architecture (construction or real estate experience a bonus, not essential)

• Strong knowledge of enterprise frameworks, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, high-performance solutions

• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing and inspiring teams

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of emerging tech and the ability to translate it into business advantage

• Relevant certifications in architecture or related disciplines are desirable
