An established global tech company with a significant UK presence are looking to work with an experienced Perl Contract Developer for an initial 3 months to play a key role in the support and maintenance of a complex legacy application used in the European Power market.
This role would see you contributing significant feature development, day-to-day support, and crucially working on refactoring legacy code. The application itself is stored in Azure, so we would like to see previous experience either within Azure or a similar cloud provider (i.e. Amazon Web Services).
Key skills:
* Strong experience with Perl application development
* Good knowledge of refactoring/re-writing
* Experience of working with legacy / monolithic applications
* Experience working in Azure and/or other cloud providers (AWS/GCP)
This role is available fully-remote within the UK, and is deemed as Outside IR35. We are accepting CVs for this with a view to immediate interviews.
