Your previous experience
You might be working in a large corporate supporting digital services looking to move closer to the cutting edge, or work for a digital analytics consutlancy looking to get exposure to bigger, national public sector projects. Data Analyst, Digital Analyst, or Insight Analyst are all relevant previous roles.
The wow!
You’ll get to work with a brilliant consultancy who champion flexible working and have invested massively in the benefits, working arrangements and culture. So long as you’re within sensible commuting distance of one of their clients or offices, across most major cities in the UK (Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, etc.), and are okay with visiting the local client sites in your nearest city occasionally, then you can work as you please.
The what?!
This would suit someone who enjoys working in a digital environment, creating value by leveraging their technical wizardry and analytical brainpower alongside a flair for data visualisation and story-telling. You’ll get stuck into building out metric frameworks for key KPIs, OKRs, and a wide variety of digital measurements to steer product development and ensure the finest of public user experiences.
As a passionate and engaged digital analyst, you’ll be central to the creation and championing of the right data processes and approaches to capture the right information around the performance of applications and sites, getting right down to the granular level using A/B testing, and whilst this role is far more than creating reports, you’ll need to be strong in Google Analytics.
Perhaps the real beauty of this role lies in how advanced you could get with the data visualisation side. PowerBI, Tableau, PowerQuery could all be used to really paint that picture with the data you’ve analysed, and keep the wider consultancy teams on the right track across the full software development cycle.
Experience in areas like:
-Google Analytics – must have
-Data Visualisation – Tableau, PowerBI, BigQuery, QlikView etc.
-Data Platforms - Data Dog, Splunk etc.
-Some programming knowledge of R, Python, Pandas, etc.
-Prior experience in a digital/software role working with engineers, developers, designers
