You’ll be responsible for the design and build of high availability, web-facing platforms in a fast paced and globally expanding Edinburgh based technology business. Bringing expert knowledge and a passion for technology, you’ll have the responsibility of ensuring all systems are reliable, scalable and meet the needs of the business and their ever-growing customer base.
As well as hosting customer systems, you’ll also support the in-house DevOps and Development teams so the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business is essential.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Expert knowledge of Server Systems Design, build and deployment (Windows & Linux)
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools
- Familiarity with both RDBS and NoSQL technologies
- Solid experience with IaC Frameworks, for example, Chef, Puppet, Docker or Kubernetes
- Demonstrable track record working in high availability environment
- Experience in the build, deployment and ongoing support of production software is a bonus
