We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international SME business in Scotland for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in the innovation, development, and operation of wireless down-hole systems used within the global energy/oil and gas sector.

As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be involved in the full firmware development lifecycle.
You will will design, develop and test firmware for downhole and surface tools, be responsible for the full firmware development life-cycle, have the opportunity to see you products run in the oil field; as well as mentoring junior members of the team.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

Commercial programming experience in Embedded C and Firmware

Experience with Microcontrollers

Leadership and mentoring capabilities

Strong communication skills
