Senior UX Designer
Fully remote, Edinburgh HQ
£40,000-65,000

Overview:
We are working with a household name in Financial Services that build and deliver intuitive, customer-led products used by hundreds of thousands of customers across the UK to add to their highly respected Customer Experience and Design team.
The organisation have a deep understanding of the benefits of great design and is keen to maximise this, supporting a well-established and high-performing design team with a Senior UX Designer to deliver customer-centred design solutions.

About You:
Your background can be within any industry – from in-house with clients or agency side, but you will hopefully have strong experience delivering high traffic, data-driven applications and be passionate about delivering research-driven design decisions.
The design team work with multiple departments within the organisation, so projects are highly varied and can include web updates, mobile app design, internal platform design, service design and looking to the future - how to design for customers in a cost of living crisis.
 
This position will join an established and experienced Design Function of almost 30, where you will have full support and backing from the team.
 
You will be part of a team responsible for:
  • Researching and working on high-performing applications used by millions of customers across the UK.
  • Looking for innovative ways to help customers manage their money as easily as possible
  • Working to support the retail part of the business and using the data of thousands of shoppers to make informed, design decisions.
  • Assessing design solutions after launch to evidence impact and driving future optimisation.
  • Designing impactful products and journeys in a cost of living crisis.
     
This position can be undertaken on a remote-first basis, with current team members spread across the UK. The organisation will cover the expenses of any visits to their Edinburgh HQ when required. The team currently try to meet once per month for meaningful collaboration, something purposeful (e.g. design speakers) as well as social.
