SQL DBA - Remote/Newcastle
We are looking for an SQL DBA for an initial 6-month contract. The client is looking for someone experienced with SQL server database builds, patching and upgrades (up to and including 2019), along with SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery using Clustering and Always On including setup, troubleshooting and support. The contract will mainly be remote, with occasional travel to Newcastle. The client views this role as inside IR35.
Key skills required:
- Experience with SQL Server and Windows server patching
- SQL Server backup, recovery and housekeeping
- Understanding of SQL Server architecture to Microsoft standards
