SQL Developer – Contract - Glasgow

We are currently looking for a skilled SQL Developer to support a leading technology organisation based in Glasgow. This is a fantastic onsite contract role, offering the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Location: Glasgow - (Onsite)
Contract Type: 4 weeks initially, with strong potential for extension
Day Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35)
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

As a SQL Developer, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s ongoing projects and database systems. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure the delivery of robust, high-performance database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries and procedures.
Carry out database administration (DBA) tasks, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals within tight deadlines.
Contribute to system improvements and database best practices.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as an SQL Developer with strong database skills.
Solid background in SQL development and DBA support.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently.
Strong communication skills with the ability to integrate seamlessly within a team.
