Calling all Systems Engineers! Bright Purple are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our Aberdeen client, where innovation meets the scenic beauty of Scotland's rugged coast. This is an opportunity to be instrumental in tackling complex challenges involving both software and hardware systems, applying your expertise within a stimulating environment that values problem-solving and technical proficiency. Your background in a similar Systems Engineer role will have equipped you with the skills to navigate the intricacies of technical issues, ensuring systems are running efficiently and effectively. A familiarity with GNSS, GPS, or experience in offshore environments will be highly regarded, as these are integral to the operations you will support.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing and resolving intricate software and hardware issues.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.

Implementing innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.

Work with the PM on product roadmaps and work on technical proposals
What we are looking for:

Proven experience in a Systems Engineer role or similar.

A strong understanding of GNSS or GPS OR GIS or vsat or satcomms or RTOS or offshore/marine technology and associated hardware/ software/infrastructure

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
