We’re working with a specialist Cyber Security Consultancy that delivers elite advisory services to critical public sector organisations and major brands. They’re now looking for an ambitious Technical Security Consultant to join their expert team and help shape the future of digital resilience across the UK.

You’ll deliver a mix of operational, consultative, and technical services across a diverse client base. Your work will be vital to ensuring secure, robust, and optimised infrastructures while helping organisations get the most from their technology investments.

You'll also collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to support demos, pitches, and webinars, building both your personal profile and the company’s reputation.

You will;
  • Provide expert technical guidance on cyber security and infrastructure projects
  • Support architecture design, pre-sales engineering, troubleshooting, and solution planning
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear advice for non-technical audiences
  • Deliver best practices and recommendations across client environments
  • Represent the company in key meetings, events, and webinars
  • Work hybrid (mostly remote), with occasional UK-wide travel and face-to-face sessions in central Glasgow

We’re looking for candidates with strong cyber infrastructure experience and excellent communication skills. Ideal experience includes:
  • zScaler or similar SASE/cloud security platforms
  • Firewall technologies, preferably Fortinet (but open to others: Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.)
  • Exposure to F5 technologies is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with large-scale network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of security fundamentals including encryption, PKI, and cryptography
  • Confident communicator who can work independently and within cross-functional teams
